Email Notification Formidable Forms is one of the default actions that occurs when someone submits a form on your site. the plugin used in CampusPress to create fillable forms. The default notification settings may need to be adjusted so the appropriate contact gets the submission notifications.

The Email Notification action automatically sends an email to the site administrator’s email address when a form is submitted on your site. You can designate a different email address to have these notifications sent to. You can also choose to send the notifications to multiple email addresses.

Update the notification email for a single form

From your site dashboard:

  1. Hover your mouse over Formidable.

  2. Then select In CampusPress, navigate to the Formidable item on the menu.

  3. Select Forms.

  4. Hover your mouse over Under the form you want to update and , select Settings.

  5. Select the Actions and Notifications tab.

  6. Expand the Email Notification action section.

  7. Highlight To change the email address, highlight the existing text in the To box and replace it with the desired email address.

    1. The only formats that can be used are name <email@example.com> and email@example.com.

    2. If you are using multiple email addresses, separate each address with a comma.

  8. To Clickthe Update button to save your changes, click Update at the top right corner of the page.

Update the notification email for all forms

From your site dashboard:

  1. Hover your mouse over Formidable.

  2. Then select In CampusPress, navigate to the Formidable item on the menu.

  3. Select Global Settings.

  4. Highlight the existing text in the Default Email Address line, and replace it with the desired email address.

  5. To save your changes, click Update at the top right corner of the page.
