Users can see the pronunciation within the Roster tool. Note: Not every course has the Roster tool enabled. |
Instructions
Login to Blackboard at https://ualearn.blackboard.com.
Click on your name, under the Institution tab, to open your profile.
Click on the Add pronunciation link or the pencil icon.
Enter your pronunciation guide (what does your name sound like?) or phonetic spelling in the Pronunciation field.
Click on Record name pronunciation. Before you record, the interface will give you a series of 2 messages:
“You’ll have 20 seconds to record”.
“Recording beginning in 3…” and will countdown to 1.
After you record your name, you can play it back. If you are not satisfied, record it again.
Click Done when you are finished.
