  1. If you’re using the web browser version of Office 365, in a web browser, navigate to https://outlook.office365.com/
    NOTE: If you’re using the Outlook 365 desktop app version, go to step 2.

    1. Log in using your UA email address and password

    2. Authenticate using DUO

    3. Select Settings

    3. In the Sharing and permissions dialog window:

    2. If you had set up SARS Impersonation in Outlook 2016 or a previous version:

      1. Check to see if SARS Impersonation is in the list of users having access to your calendar

        • If you do see it, go to the next step

        • If you don’t see it, go to Step 7b

      2. In the access drop-down menu, change SARS Impersonation’s access to Delegate and send me a copy

    3. If you hadn’t set up SARS Impersonation in Outlook 2016 or a previous version:

      1. Enter sars-exchange@ua.edu (in the field at the top of the Sharing and Permissions window) and select it from the drop-down menu (that appears below the field you typed in).From the drop-down menu, choose Delegate and send me a copy

      2. Click Share

    4. When you see SARS

    1. Impersonation listed in your list of Delegates, close the window

  1. If you’re the Outlook 365 desktop app, open the application

    1. Click Calendar
      NOTE: Depending on your Navigation Options settings, you will see either Calendar or a calendar icon

    2. In Calendar > Home > Manage Calendars > click Share Calendar and from the drop down menu, under your email address, choose Calendar

    3. In the Calendar Properties window, look for SARS Impersonation in the “Currently sharing with:” list

    4. If you see SARS Impersonation in the list:

      1. Select SARS Impersonation

      2. In the Permissions list, confirm/select the Permissions are set to:

        1. Delegate: checked

        2. Can view private events: unchecked

      3. Click OK

    5. If you don’t see SARS Impersonation in the list:

      1. Click Add

        In the Add Users window:

        1. Change the search to All columns

        2. Type sars

        3. Press Enter (or the arrow icon)

        4. In the results, find SARS Impersonation with SARS-Exchange@ua.edu as the email address

        5. Click Add

        6. Click OK

      3. In the Calendar Properties window, select SARS Impersonation in the “Currently sharing with:” list

      4. In the Permissions list, confirm/select the Permissions are set to:

        1. Delegate: checked

        2. Can view private events: unchecked

      5. Click OK

Check your Outlook calendar to see if your SARS Anywhere appointments are being imported. The import process runs on the SARS server; it may take 30 minutes for appointments to appear
