Create Zoom recordings in the classroom

Instructions

  1. Open the Zoom desktop application or navigate to ua-edu.zoom.us.

  2. Start the login process by choosing Single sign-on (SSO).

  3. Enter your original UA email address and password when prompted.

    • Correct email address: hjpotter@ua.edu

    • Incorrect email address: harry.potter@ua.edu

  4. Start the meeting.

  5. Select the “Record” button and select Record to the Cloud.

Do not record to the local computer in a classroom. All files stored locally will be erased at midnight each day

5. When class is finished, select Stop Recording. The recording will upload to the cloud automatically.
