Download Zoom Cloud recordings

When recording a Zoom session, the host can choose to save the recording to their computer or to save the recording to the cloud. The cloud is a convenient, temporary storage space for Zoom recordings

Zoom Cloud recordings are saved for 60 days. All users should download the Cloud recordings they wish to keep and upload them to another storage space (UA+Box, OneDrive, etc.)

Instructions

Desktop application

  1. Open the Zoom application on your computer and log in if prompted.

  2. Select Meetings.

  3. Select Recorded.

  4. Locate the recording.

  5. Select Open. The recording will open in the Zoom web portal. You may play the recording and/or download it to your computer.

Retrieve cloud recording on desktop

Web application

You can view and download cloud recordings directly from the web portal.

  1. Go to the web portal at https://ua-edu.zoom.us

  2. Select Recordings.

  3. Select Cloud Recordings.

  4. You can use the date selection fields to search for a meeting if needed.

  5. Once you have found the recording, choose the Topic Name.

  6. You may play the recording and/or download it to your computer.
