How do I create my UA Qualtrics account?

The UA Qualtrics account is separate from any free or paid Qualtrics account through their website.

Current students, faculty and staff are all eligible to have a UA Qualtrics account.

Instructions

  1. Visit the UA Qualtrics page: http://qualtrics.ua.edu

  2. Login using your myBama username and password.

  3. Once logged in for the first time, click on the appropriate button:

    Select one option - 1.Yes, I have a preexisting account here OR 2. No, I don't have a preexisting account herecount
    Select the appropriate option to create your Qualtrics account.

I don’t have a Qualtrics account

What happens next?

  • You will see a box with your first and last name and University e-mail address (e.g. @ua.edu or @crimson.ua.edu). Verify the information is correct or revise as necessary, then click save.

  • A new Qualtrics account is created in UA’s Qualtrics environment & is associated with your myBama credentials.

  • Next, you will either login or see the Qualtrics “Create Survey” page.

This does not apply to users with Qualtrics free/trial accounts. This applies to C&BA, Education, CIS, and Museum users only.

What happens next?

  • You will see an entry screen where you can enter your existing Qualtrics account (e.g., jsmith@cba.ua.edu). Enter your existing account and password, then click on the Migrate Account button.  

  • Qualtrics creates a new Qualtrics account associated with your myBama username and moves your existing surveys, results, settings, etc., from the old account to the new account. You will see the Qualtrics “My Surveys” screen.
