Change Themes in Adobe Portfolio

One of the nice features of Adobe Portfolio is that you can switch between different themes with ease without effecting work that you’ve done on another theme. You can test out other layouts and if you decide you don’t like them, you can always go back to the first theme that you were working with. This tutorial shows how to change your theme once you’ve added some content to your site.

Instructions

  1. Click on the Themes button that appears on the left hand panel near the top of the screen. This option will be under the Essentials category.

Select the Themes option under the essential section of the editing menu.

This will bring you back to the page where you selected your theme when you started your site.

  1. Find the theme you want to use.

  2. Click the Use This Theme under the title. Portfolio will take all of the content that you added to your site (so far) and move it to the new theme.

If you decide that you do not like your new theme, you can click the Themes button to choose a new theme. Then choose Continue Editing.

When changing a site’s theme, it’s important that you look through the new theme thoroughly to see what changes were moved over with theme. As a general rule, your main content will transfer over, but the customizations you made to the other theme will not go transfer to the new theme.
