How do I turn off the Roster tool in Blackboard Ultra courses?

In Ultra Course View, the Roster tool shows to all users on the left side of the course. An instructor has the ability to turn off this feature for privacy.

In an Ultra view course:

1. Select Course Settings (gear icon) at the top right of the page.

   Open

   

2. Under the Course Tools section, toggle the Class Roster setting to show an X. This means students cannot view the class roster.

3. Click the X to exit the settings tray.
