How do I search for previous syllabi?

Simple Syllabus stores all published syllabi for current and previous semesters in the Syllabus Library. All users with myBama credentials can access and search these syllabi using the following steps.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Simple Syllabus at ua.simplesyllabus.com.

  2. Log in with your myBama credentials.

Select the Section Syllabus Library icon to view all syllabi. The symbol indicated in the screenshot below looks like a person holding an open book.

 

Using search and filter functions

Use the Term dropdown menu to select a different term to search. You may need to expand each category to see a full list of terms.

Expanded term categories show a list of the term categories and a list of semesters from Initial Term, Spring 2023 through Spring 2025

Select the Filters button to expand the filtering options. You can filter results by Subject, Course Number, Organization, or Instructor.

Type any desired text into the search bar, and the results should appear below.

If the search results don’t appear accurate, please make sure that you are signed in to Simple Syllabus by clicking on the Profile icon at the top right corner of the screen.
