How do I submit a Panopto video assignment in a Blackboard Ultra course as a student?

This guide gives student users the steps to submit a recording to a Panopto video assignment in a Blackboard Ultra course.

Instructions

Open the assignment in Blackboard.
In the text editor, select the icon that looks like a circle with a plus symbol inside of it.
Then select Content Market from the menu.
In the Content Market window, select Panopto Student Submission.
A window will open with the Panopto embedded video selector with three tabs: Choose, Upload, or Record.
1. Choose: If you have already recorded and uploaded your video to Panopto, select Choose.
  Use the dropdown to browse through your available folders and select your video.
2. Upload: If you have recorded your video, but you haven’t uploaded it to Panopto yet, select Upload.
  Drag and drop video or audio files here or click in the box to browse your computer for files.
3. Record: If you have not recorded your video, select Record.
  On the Record tab, name your video. Then select the appropriate option to record your video. When you’re finished recording, navigate back to the window with the open Panopto assignment submission, and you should see your video embedded there.
Optional: To edit your recording, click the Open in Panopto icon to open the video, and then click the Edit icon at the top right corner of the new window.
Click Insert to add the video to your assignment submission draft.
Add any additional files or text required for the assignment (if applicable).
Click Submit to submit your assignment.
