How do I download student submissions in Blackboard Ultra?
Instructors can download individual students' assessment submissions and view them offline. This can be used if you like to grade offline or if you need to save student work for record keeping.
Content or files that students create or upload to the editor can be downloaded.
Content or files that are attached to assessment questions cannot be downloaded.
Download all or only selected submissions as a single ZIP file.
Instructions
In your Ultra course, navigate to the Gradebook.
Select the Gradable Items view.
Select the assignment or assessment you would like to view.
On the Submissions page, click on the three dot menu in the right column to open more options for the Submissions list.
Select Download All.
Select the checkbox next to the Name column to select all submissions or select submissions individually. * If you allowed multiple attempts, the files for all attempts for each student are included.
Select Create ZIP File to start the process.
In the pop-up box, select Send. The file is created in the background and takes a few moments based on the size of the file.
Exit the Gradebook view and navigate to Messages. You receive an email and a course message when the ZIP file is ready to download to your computer.
On your course's Messages page, view the message and select the Download now link.
A ZIP file will download to your computer. Unzip the file to view TXT files of submissions entered in the editor and other files uploaded as an attachment.
