How can I find archived Panopto videos?
Archived Panopto videos are still visible to Panopto users through the search function. This content will appear with the thumbnail image greyed out and the Archive icon over it.
There are two ways to locate your archived videos in Panopto.
Archived videos may take up to 48 hours to be restored.
Check the course’s folder
Start in Blackboard.
Navigate to a Blackboard course.
Select the menu item or link to access Panopto.
Blackboard Original: Select Course Videos on the course menu. This will open the Panopto interface.
Blackboard Ultra: Select the link for your Panopto Course Folder Embed (it may be renamed).
Click on the Open in Panopto button.
If the folder contains any archived videos, you should see the Archived button at the top of the folder.
Click the Archived button to see all archived videos in the folder.
Search for the video
The second option is to search for the video in Panopto.
Navigate to alabama.hosted.panopto.com in your web browser.
Select the Everything tab.
Type your video’s title in the search bar at the top of the page, and press Enter on your keyboard.
