How do I set a Primary Instructor for my course?

Problem
There are multiple instructor users in my Blackboard course and one needs to be primary.
By default, Blackboard Ultra lists the instructors of a course alphabetically according to their last names.
Solution
Identify the primary instructor(s) to pin their names at the top of the list.
Open your Blackboard course.
In the Details & Actions area, click the link under Roster that says View everyone in your course.
On the Roster page, locate the instructor(s) you’d like to set as the primary instructor.
Click on the name of the primary instructor to access their Member Information. Note: This step is the same whether you’re using the grid view or list view of the roster.
In the pop-out tray, select the checkbox next to Primary Instructor.
Click Save.
The primary instructor will always be listed at the top of the roster. If there are multiple primary instructors, they will be listed in alphabetical order at the top of the roster.
