Folders and Learning Modules in Ultra

Blackboard Ultra has two different types of containers for content: Learning Modules and Folders. Learning Module and Folders are similar, but they also have some key differences.

For organizing course content, we recommend using Learning Modules as your primary containers due to their enhanced customization options. If you need to further organize content within a module, consider using Folders as secondary containers.
Switch between container types:
To switch a Learning Module to a Folder or vice versa:
Locate the module or folder you want to change.
Select the three dots next to the name of the module or folder.
Select Change to Folder or Change to Learning Module.
