Grade reporting and troubleshooting
Blackboard data imported to myBama
Grades populate based on letter data from a Midterm column or Final column.
If appropriate Midterm or Final column data can be found in Blackboard, it will populate the grade selection dropdown for each student in myBama.
Grades from Blackboard are automatically saved upon completion of the import process, excluding previously rolled grades.
Larger class sections will take longer for the import process to complete.
Troubleshooting Blackboard Grade Import
Users may receive an error message when importing grades
Error message: “There are no Blackboard Learn grades found for this course…”
Reasons can include:
The Blackboard course with the matching CRN does not exist
The Blackboard course does not include a Midterm column or Final column
The Gradebook includes more than one column named “Final”
The Midterm or Final column grades are not showing as “Letter” or “Text”
Contact CIT for more guidance on entering grades into Blackboard and preparing them to import into myBama.
