Disable the Sidebar

There are two options for disabling the sidebar: you can disable it across your entire site or you can disable it for a single page.

To disable the sidebar for the entire site:

1. Log in to CampusPress at sites.ua.edu/login.

2. Navigate to a page on your site that has the sidebar you’d like to disable.

3. Click the Customize button in the toolbar at the top of the page.

4. In the panel that opens, click Content.

5. Click Pages.

6. Uncheck the checkboxes next to Right Sidebar and Left Sidebar, and click Publish to save your changes.

To disable the sidebar for a single page:

1. Log in to CampusPress at sites.ua.edu/login.

2. Navigate to a page on your site that has the sidebar you’d like to disable.

3. Click the Edit Page button in the toolbar at the top of the page.

4. You should see a sidebar to the right of the page editor with some page information.

   1. If you don’t see the sidebar, click the sidebar symbol at the top right corner of the page.

5. Scroll to the Customization section of the sidebar, and enable Overwrite Sidebar Visibility.

6. Make sure the checkboxes for “Sidebar Left” and Sidebar Right” are unchecked.

7. Click Save at the top right corner of the editor to save your changes.
