Titanium student user: Troubleshooting getting to Titanium application login screen
Problem
I’m unable to get to the Titanium application login screen.
Solution
There are three important steps to get you to the Titanium login screen:
Logging in to one of the clinic’s computers
Opening a window to see the Titanium server
Opening the TITANIUM folder (TITANIUM_SHC if you’re working in the Collegiate Recovery clinic)
The following steps will help you troubleshoot getting to the Titanium application login screen
Login to Windows
Can you login to Windows using your myBamaUsername@crimson.ua.edu credentials?
Yes: Great. Let’s see if you can access the Titanium server
No: Try again using:
Username = myBamaUsername@crimson.ua.edu
Password = your myBama password
If you’re still unable to login to Windows, please, ask a co-worker to login to the same computer using their myBamaUsername@crimson.ua.edu credentials
Can your co-worker login using their myBamaUsername@crimson.ua.edu credentials?
Yes: Great. Please try again to login using your myBamaUsername@crimson.ua.edu credentials
No: Please let your supervisor you are unable to login to the computer and request they send an email to ITSD@ua.edu and cc: gdykeman@ua.edu explaining the problem and providing:
Your Full Name
Your myBama Username
Your CWID
Access the Titanium server
Do you need help finding the Titanium server?
Yes: No worries. These steps will walk you through it
Open Windows Explorer (the folder icon in the Task bar)
In the window’s “address” bar, type: \\titanium.ua-net.ua.edu and press Enter
You should now see this
NOTE: The folders you see are relevant to the clinic where you work
Can you access the Titanium server?

No: Please try logging in to a different computer in the clinic using your whole @crimson.ua.edu email address – mailto:myBamaUsername@crimson.ua.edu – and your myBama password to login and, then in Windows Explorer, try to access the Titanium server
If you’re still unable to access \\titanium.ua-net.ua.edu, please, let your supervisor know you are unable to access it and request they send an email to ITSD@ua.edu and cc: gdykeman@ua.edu explaining the problem and providing:
Your Full Name
Your myBama Username
Your CWID
Can you open the TITANIUM folder (or TITANIUM_SHC if you’re in the Collegiate Recovery clinic)?
Yes: Great
No: Did you get a “Windows can’t access” error message?
Yes: Email your supervisor, telling them when you tried to open the TITANIUM folder, you got a “Windows can’t access” error message you got and asking them to submit a ticket to ITSD for support.
No: Take a screenshot of the error message and email it to your supervisor, letting them know you are unable to open the TITANIUM folder and requestIng they send an email to ITSD@ua.edu and cc: gdykeman@ua.edu explaining the problem and providing:
Your Full Name
Your myBama Username
Your CWID
Find and open the Titanium application
Can you find Ti10.exe (Application)?
Yes: Great. Double-click Ti10.exe and wait to see the login screen – it usually takes 10-15 seconds before you see the Titanium splash screen.
No: Ask a co-worker or your supervisor to show you where Ti10.exe is located in the TITANIUM folder
Titanium is not installed on your computer.
Instead, you can add a shortcut to Ti10.exe (or your clinic's Shared Documents folder) to your desktop.
These shortcuts are connected to your myBamaUsername@crimson.ua.edu login and will "follow" you to other clinic computers.
Login to the Titanium application
Can you login to Ti10.exe, the Titanium application?
Yes: Great. Hope you have a great day
No: Please tell your supervisor or the clinic’s administrative assistant you are having problems logging in to Ti10.exe and confirm you are using the correct login
Your login for Ti10.exe is administered by your clinic’s director or administrative assistant and does not match your myBama Username and Password.
To prevent unauthorized access, Titanium locks user accounts after 6 failed log in attempts.
If you are locked out of Titanium, please, tell your supervisor or the clinic’s administrative assistant and ask them them to unlock your Titanium account.
If you are locked out of Titanium, it does not effect your myBama Username or Password.
