Duo – Using Self Service (Generate DUO Codes)

We’ve strived to make Duo user-friendly for UA students, faculty and staff. If you have forgotten your device, or you need temporary Duo bypass codes, you can use our self-service page to generate custom codes. Please note that these codes do expire after 72 hours, and each code can be used only once. Follow our step-by-step guide below to obtain your own Duo bypass codes.

Step 1

Visit our self-service page. Enter your myBama username and password, click the ReCaptcha and then click the next page.

Step 2

You will then be asked to provide additional information so that we can verify your identity. Once you have filled out these fields, click Next Page.

Step 3

You will then be given a list of ten Duo access codes. These codes expire after 72 hours, and each code can be used only once.
