Schedule Codes are used to create the Master Schedule for a user who meets with students, and can include bookable and non-bookable appointments such as:
Open F2F
Open Zoom
Leave
Lunch
Meeting
NOTE: Not every bookable appointment has to be visible to the student in eSARS, the online portal. For example, after an initial meeting with a student, a coach may book the student’s next appointment in SARS Anywhere
Every Schedule Code includes the following properties:
Schedule Code - what SARS users see on THE GRID
Description - what students see in eSARS
Allow Appointment (is it bookable?) - Yes or No
Max Number of Students
Duration - the duration has to be a multiple of the location’s default Time Increment. For example, if most appointments are 20 minutes, then all appointments much be a multiple of 20: 20, 40, 60, etc. If the location’s default Time Increment is 30 minutes, it cannot have a 15-minute appointment.
