Connecting to Wifi on Other Devices

Chromebooks

  1. Click on your wireless network icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

  2. Connect to eduroam.

  3. In the window that comes up, put your mybamausername@ua.edu or mybamausername@crimson.ua.edu email address in the “Identity” field.

  4. Leave “Anonymous Identity” blank.

  5. Enter your myBama password in the “Password” field.

  6. Click Connect.


Linux Computers

  1. Click on your wireless network icon.

  2. Connect to eduroam.

  3. In the window that comes up change the Authentication method to PEAP.

  4. Check the box that says “No CA Certificate Required”.

  5. Put your mybamausername@ua.edu or mybamausername@crimson.ua.edu email address in the “Identity” field.

  6. Leave “Anonymous Identity” blank.

  7. Enter your myBama password in the “Password” field.
