How do I change the maximum number of students allowed in a group appointment?
The maximum number of students allowed in a Group Appointment is configured in SARS Admin.
You can override the maximum of students for a single Group Appointment in SARS Anywhere. The number will be changed for only the appointment you select.
NOTE: If you want to change multiple appointments, they must be done one-by-one.
Increase the maximum number
If the Spaces Remaining for an appointment is 0, you will be unable to add another person to the Roster without first increasing the Maximum Number.
Log in to SARS Anywhere https://sarsweb.ua-net.ua.edu/SARSAnywhere/Login.aspx
Click THE GRID tab and use the Date Picker to find the desired appointment
Double click the Group appointment you want to work with
Click Roster
In the Roster window:
Look at the Maximum Students Allowed and Spaces Remaining
Click Change
Change the Maximum number as desired
Click OK
Decrease the maximum number
You cannot decrease by more than the number of available slots.
For example, if the current maximum number allowed is 50 and Spaces Remaining are 7, you can decrease to 43 but not to 42 or lower. If you need to decrease to a lower number, you must “cancel” some reservations.
