Enable Respondus Monitor on a Pearson test

Instructions

To use Respondus Monitor with your Pearson MyLab course:

1. In Pearson, navigate to the course settings and locate Learning Aids and Test Options.

2. Select Use automated proctoring in this course.

3. Then select Respondus Monitor Proctoring.

Pearson MyLab will then prompt you to "Complete the Respondus Monitor Proctoring license setup," which is a one-time process. You will need a code, provided in Blackboard, to connect the Pearson test to Respondus Monitor.

Obtain Your Respondus Monitor LMS Code

To link to a MyLab course to your institution’s Respondus Monitor license, the instructor needs to log into Blackboard and navigate to the LockDown Browser Dashboard.

1. In your course, navigate to Course Tools on the bottom-left menu.

2. Choose Respondus Lockdown Browser.

3. On the Respondus Lockdown Browser dashboard, choose the Other Systems tab.

4. Highlight and copy the code in the Pearson section.

Complete the Process

Return to the Pearson window.

5. Paste the code into the field underneath “Link to an existing Respondus Monitor license through my university.”
6. Click Accept and Continue.
