How to Register a Clicker

Students should follow all steps in this guide to complete the registration of their clicker. The process includes creating a Point Solutions account, redeeming the subscription/license code, and adding a clicker to their account.

Instructions

Start in Blackboard

  1. Log in to Blackboard Learn and select the course that requires a clicker.

  2. In your Blackboard course, click on the Clicker Registration link in your course menu or home page.

  3. Log in with your MyBama username and password.

This links the Blackboard course to your Point Solutions account.

Create Point Solutions Account

  1. You will then be redirected to the Point Solutions sign in page.

  2. Enter your @crimson.ua.edu email address and select Next.

  3. On the UA login page, enter your myBama username and password.

You will be redirected to the Point Solutions landing page.

Redeem Point Solutions Subscription Code

If you purchased a clicker bundle, the subscription code is on a card taped to your clicker.

  1. In the top right corner of the Point Solutions landing page, click on the Account Icon.

  1. Select Profile from the dropdown menu.

  2. On the account page, click on the Add a Subscription button.

  1. Enter your subscription code and click redeem.

Add Clicker ID to Point Solutions Account

Scroll down to Response Devices. You may see a mobile ID automatically generated here.

  1. Find your clicker ID on the back of your clicker device.

  2. To add your clicker ID, click on the Add a clicker button.

  1. Enter your clicker ID into the box and click add.

Your clicker now is registered.
