Add a syllabus link to a course using Blackboard Ultra Course View

This guide will show instructor users how to add a link to their syllabus to the course menu. This guide is for users with courses in Blackboard Ultra Course View.

Instructions

After you publish your syllabus in Simple Syllabus:

  1. In the Course Content area, click on the plus sign ( + ).

  2. Choose Content Market.

  3. Scroll through the list and click the plus sign ( + ) on the Simple Syllabus tile. This adds the syllabus link to the content area. By default it is named “Simple Syllabus” and is hidden from students.

  4. Click on the link’s three dots menu ( … ) for more options.

  5. Choose Edit.

  6. In the pop-out tray, click on the pencil to rename the link if needed.

  7. Use the drop-down menu to choose Visible to students.

  8. Click Save when you are finished.

This will add the link to top of the Course Content area. Instructors can drag/drop this link to another location as needed.
