On May 11, 2022 we are updating the method used for connecting Blackboard to Turnitin. This update brings some user interface changes but the service retains the same features. Students will continue to submit their Turnitin assignments from a link in a content area.

Instructions

  1. Click on the assignment link in a course content area. A new tab/window may open to launch the assignment.

  2. Click on the assignment title to open the assignment details including the due date and any instructions provided by the instructor.

  3. Click the Upload Submission to begin the submission process.

    Click on the assignment title to view assignment details and click on the upload submission button to begin the submission process.

Submission Process

  1. The first step is to upload/input your submission. Choose one of the following:

    1. Upload Submission - Name your submission and Browse your computer for a file to upload.

    2. Text Input - Name your submission and enter or paste your submission into the Submission Text box.

    3. Cloud Submission - Choose a file from either Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox to upload. You will need to login to one of the services to choose a file.

  2. Click Upload and Review to move to the next step.

  3. The second step is to review your submission. Choose one of the following:

    1. Preview Submission - This allows you to preview the file/text you uploaded before submitting.

    2. Cancel Submission - If you have uploaded an incorrect document or input the incorrect text, this allows you to start the upload process again.

  4. After previewing your submission, click Submit to Turnitin.

After Submission, students will receive a digital receipt by email, but they can also download it from the assignment page.
