Instructions

  1. Enter your Ultra course and click on the Gradebook tab from the top menu.

  2. Click the total column or create a new total column with only the category you want to drop the grades from.

  3. Select Edit, if you clicked on a already created column.

  4. You will now see all of the categories in the course. In order to drop grades automatically, the categories must be used. For example, if you would like to drop the lowest quiz grade, all quizzes would have to be in the “Quiz” category and must hold weight towards the final grade.

  5. Locate the category that you want to edit to drop grades and select “Edit calculation rules.”

  1. A side panel will pop up. Make sure the Enable setting is checked (green) and select Drop Grades. The Use Only function will let you choose to only count the highest or lowest grade in the category.

  2. You can type the amount of grades you want to drop into the boxes.

  3. Select Continue to finish.
