Configure Microsoft Edge for use with eSARS_Config

Previously, you were required to use Microsoft Internet Explorer when creating or editing the Email Receipt configured in eSARS_Config (for in-person appointments booked by students via eSARS).

Microsoft has retired Internet Explorer. These steps will walk you through how to set up/use Microsoft Edge.

Instructions

1. Launch Microsoft Edge.

2. In the browser’s address bar, paste this URL: edge://settings/defaultBrowser and navigate to it.

3. Set Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode to Allow.

4. After this setting is enabled, to use it:

   1. In Microsoft Edge, navigate to your location’s eSARS_Config page.

   2. After it loads, right-click and choose Reload tab in Internet Explorer mode.
