Using Lockdown Browser in Ultra Course View

This is a guide for students taking a test with Respondus Lockdown Browser in Blackboard Ultra course view. Ultra course view looks like the example below:

Instructions

1. Navigate to Blackboard Learn in your internet browser.

2. Enter the course and click on the test link. The link details will have “Proctored” to show that it requires Respondus Lockdown Browser.

3. The assignment/test slide out tray will have more details about the assessment. Under Assessment security, there is a link to download Respondus Lockdown Browser if you have not downloaded it already.

    

4. Click Start attempt to begin the test.

5. The following message will indicate that Respondus Lockdown Browser is opening on your computer.

6. Continue the test and submit the test within the Lockdown Browser.
