Using Lockdown Browser in Original Course View

This is a guide for students taking a test with Respondus Lockdown Browser in Blackboard Original course view. Original course view looks like the example below:

Instructions

  1. Open LockDown Browser from your applications or programs menu.

    Windows and Mac application icons
  2. You may be prompted to close applications, or allow Respondus Lockdown Browser to close applications for you, before continuing to Blackboard.

  3. Log in to Blackboard Learn using your myBama credentials.

  4. Navigate to your course and begin the test within the LockDown Browser.

 

Note: Users will not be able to access tests that require Lockdown Browser with a standard web browser. You must use the Lockdown Browser application to begin the test.
