How do I edit course Messages settings in Ultra?

Instructors can adjust message settings by going to Course Settings. They can set the following limits on messages within the course:

• Students can message anyone in their course 

• Students can only message staff and students in their groups 

• Students can only message staff 

• Students can only reply to messages 

• Turn all messages off, which sends all messages by email only

Instructions

To access the Messages options:

1. At the top-right of the course, select Course Settings.

2. Scroll down to the Course Tools section.

3. Under Messages, choose the desired option(s).
