How do I link a user name to a UA Zoom account?

Instructions

  1. Log in to SARS Anywhere Admin, sarsweb.ua-net.ua.edu/SARSAdmin/Main.aspx#

  2. Click Security (left sidebar)

  3. Click User Names

    SARS Admin Security User Names

     

  4. At the bottom, fill in:

    SARS Admin User Name New User

     

    1. User Name

    2. Password (create a temporary password, such as Abcd1234, and show the user how to change their password after they’ve logged in to SARS Anywhere)

    3. Full Name

    4. Email address (this has to be the user’s myBama email address)

    5. Primary Location (if needed, the user can access to multiple SARS locations)

    6. Access Code (this is the user’s access for the Primary Location; each location they have access to will its own access code)

    7. Short Name (if the user will meet with students, choose their Short Name from the list)

  5. In the Actions sidebar, click Save

     

  6. After the user name logged in to Zoom using SSO, email the SARS Support team in EDAS:

They can enable the link between the user’s SARS and Zoom accounts
