How do I find my courses?
About the Courses Page
From the Base Navigation menu where your name appears, select Courses to view a list of your courses. You can return to previous courses to review content, reuse material, and prepare your future courses.

Find a course
On the Courses page, you can access all of your courses. Each course card lists the course ID, course name, and instructor. If your course has multiple instructors, select Multiple Instructors for a list. Select More info to see the description and schedule, if added.
Use the search bar at the top of the page, or the filter drop down menus, to narrow down the course list.
Semester-based terms
Use the Term filter to search by semester. Courses that are associated with a semester will always be displayed under a Term in Blackboard. At UA, course names begin with a semester code. Semester codes include the Year and corresponding number below:
Example: 202410 is the Spring 2024 semester.
Spring | Summer | Fall |
---|---|---|
10 | 30 | 40 |
Organization-based courses and development courses
Courses that are not associated with a term will show after the list of term-based courses. Use the search bar to search for these, or make them a “favorite” so they show at the top of the list.
Favorite a Course
To favorite a course, click the star icon indicated in the screenshot above so that it turns purple. This will pin the course at the top of your course list.
To “un-favorite” a course, click the same star icon so that it is no longer purple. This will un-pin the course from the top of your course list.
Hiding a Course
Point to a course card menu and select Hide Course.
Activity for hidden courses no longer appears in the global pages about all your courses, such as Grades.
Only instructors have the option to hide courses.
To reveal a hidden course, use the filter and select Hidden from me. Point to a course card menu and select Show course.
