How do I reset a user’s password?

If/when a SARS forgets their password, you can reset it to a temporary password in SARS Admin. After the user logs in to SARS Anywhere, they can/should change their password.

Instructions

  1. Log in to SARS Admin

  2. Choose Security > User Name

  3. Find the desired user name

  4. Change the password to something simple, e.g. abc123

  5. Let the user know their password has been reset, what the temporary password is, and the steps to change their password after they log in.
