Add a quiz to a Panopto video

In Panopto you have the ability to add quiz questions to any Panopto video at any point during the presentation.

Instructions

In Panopto:

1. Hover your mouse over a video and select the Edit button.

2. Click in the timeline to navigate to the place in the video where you would like to insert a quiz. The red vertical line will indicate where the quiz will be added in the video.

3. In the left Navigation menu, click on Quizzes then select Add a Quiz.

4. A quiz window will appear in your secondary stream window where you can fill in the details for your quiz. Select the drop-down menu in the top right corner to show different types of quiz questions. The quiz options include True/False, Multiple Choice, Multiple Select, and Fill In the Blank.

    

5. Choose Add a Question OR Done.

   1. Add a Question: to add more questions OR

   2. Choose Done when you are finished adding questions to the quiz for this moment in the video.

6. On the next screen, choose options for the quiz.

7. Click the Finish button. The name of your quiz will now appear in the Quizzing pane. Repeat steps 1-6 to add multiple quizzes to the video/recording.

8. When you are finished adding quizzes, click Apply at the top of the editor.
