Error Message - LMS authentication has expired

Problem

Instructor gets an error message “Your LMS authentication is expired. Click OK to be directed to TurningPoint web to authenticate to your LMS.”

Error message that says Your LMS authentication is expired. Click OK to be directed to PointSolutions web to authenticate your LMS.

Solution

The LTI connection, or your connection to Blackboard from PointSolutions, has timed out. We recommend

  1. Log out of PointSolutions & Blackboard.

  2. Log back into Blackboard and relaunch the PointSolutions application.  

If the error persists, please contact CIT through the support portal.
